Transition to Winter Travel on the Forest and ask to consider donating
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope this finds you well.
It's winter and the White River National Forest has officially transitioned to over the snow modes of transportation. This means tracked vehicles only and nothing with wheels. Please help us to spread the word. Here is a link to the official Press Release. Please reach out if you have questions.
WTC has had a great year! We partnered with the Town of Avon and were awarded the CPW OHV Grant to fund heavy maintenance next Spring on Forest Service Rd. 779. This will keep the road from being decommissioned and provide scenic access to the forest for future generations. We provided Motorized Trail Ambassadors and supported trail maintenance days on the Basalt to Gypsum Trail System. We collaborated with our Eagle Valley Outdoor Stewardship Coalition partners to formulate a recommendation for Eagle Town Council to update the width restriction at the Second Gulch OHV access to public land.
We continue to work hard on behalf of the motorized community and kindly ask for your support. Please consider donating by check or through our secure website.
Thank you in advance for your support! Happy holidays!
