Year end giving to support approved motorized singletrack riding opportunities
Happy Holidays! I hope this finds you well.
This holiday season, please consider a year end donation to Wildridge Trail Coalition. We have a goal to raise $8,500 to contract with a professional planning group to initiate a prospective trails plan for approved motorized singletrack riding opportunities in the Red and White Mountain area near the Town of Avon. The scope of work would include:
Preparation of a project map and brief;
Assistance in forming a working group and coordinating with the Forest Service; and
Working to define the planning process through identification of key milestones, data/survey needs, and an overall timeline.
Although the motorized recreational community has been working on this for decades, we feel strongly that the time is right for this effort. Now, more than ever, there is support at all levels, federal, state and local, for recreational opportunities close to home.
Thank you to Holy Cross Powder Hounds and those individuals that together have donated $1,450 so far this month. And thank you, in advance, for your support of local trails.
