On Street Parking returns at FS Rd. 779

Happy winter! I hope this finds you well.

Great news! Tuesday night, Avon Town Council approved 4 on street parking spaces near the FS Rd. 779 trailhead. This gives all residents an opportunity to enjoy our Public Land! After all, it is why we live here.

This was another HUGE victory for our Community! As you may recall, No Parking signs were installed last summer and police began enforcing and ticketing. As a result, this winter, residents that live more than a few houses away have not been able to enjoy that public access point. Tuesday night, the Avon Town Council rectified the situation. I would like to ask you to please take a moment to send a quick email to council@avon.org to let them know how grateful you are that they approved the parking spaces and gave you back your access.
