Work to begin next week on FS Rd. 779
Happy summer! I hope this finds you well!
Monday morning, July 31, RPM Construction will be mobilizing equipment at the FS Rd. 779 Metcalf Creek trailhead. The major drainage improvement project will be completed over the next two or three weeks. This work is funded by your CPW OHV registration dollars, Town of Avon, Forest Service and our community.
The road will remain open during the maintenance project, so we do recommend caution. Please read and obey signs, watch for flaggers and show courtesy to the construction crew.
The Wildridge Trail Coalition and the Forest Service are grateful for its partnerships with Town of Avon, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and RPM Construction to facilitate this improvement project.
If you haven’t already done so, please register your 4 x 4, quad, side-by-side or dirt bike with Colorado Parks and Wildlife. These registration fees fund trail maintenance, construction of new trails, parking areas, signs, maps and this project. Please comply with the law while also supporting our local trails system.
Please let me know if you have questions.
Thank you for your support!
